Today's throwback race of the day focuses in on a special Irish Derby renewal with the Joseph O'Brien trained Latrobe giving his trainer his first Classic win.
Latrobe was a shock winner of the 2018 renewal having only broken his maiden tag earlier that month over the same course and distance, but stepping up into Group One company for the first time he was overlooked in the market.
The 14/1 shot was taking on the likes of 2000 Guineas winner Saxon Warrior, Epsom Derby second Dee Ex Bee and the smart Rostropovich.
Going from the front the son of Camelot was joined by Rosropovich for Aidan O'Brien late on, but managed to fend him off to take the Irish Derby.
