We are looking to start the day off with a high and what better way than looking back at one of the fastest horses in the sport doing his thing on the Knavesmire.
Battaash has been the star of the five furlong flat division for the last few seasons and although being beat by the narrowest of margins in some of his races, the ones he have gone on to win have been breathtaking.
One of those performances came last season at the Yorkshire Ebor meeting where many thought that the Knavesmire did not suit him at all and he could not land the Group One Nunthorpe Stakes that he had bee trying to do for a long time.
However, with no Blue Point to worry about he was put into full gear by Jim Crowley and was not for catching and gave one of the best performances in a five furlong event all season.
