Trainer Olly Murphy on Monday is looking to have a winner at Sedgefield today over the jumps, sending just one runner to the Northern based track on the day, which sees the handler make a 400 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
Murphy is a trainer that has been in some smart form since the turn of the year, getting his horses firing after a slow start to the term.
He sends just the one runner to Sedgefield on Monday, with Graces Order in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle and the mare has a leading chance if building on her seasonal debut.
Having been a smart horse in bumpers last year, getting off the mark in her final event over two miles at Sedgefield, Murphy then sent her over obstacles this term.
She made her debut at Wincanton in December finishing a good third of 11, not quite finishing off her race and hopefully being fitter for that event can go better in this.
when travelling this far with his horses, the handler is running at a 26% strike rate with 74 winners from 280 runners and with that Murphy has a superb record at the track with a 30% win rate.
