Trainer Tim Vaughan on Tuesday is looking to have a winner over the jumps at Wetherby, sending just one runner to the Yorkshire based track today, which sees the handler make a 452 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
The reason why Jembug Drummer has been bought to our attention is that the handler when travelling this far with his horses has a 17% strike rate with his runners.
Having only this horse today on his travels with him makes him very interesting and now on a very lowly handicap mark could be useful again at a big price.
