Trainer Lucinda Russell on Tuesday is looking to have a winner on the all weather at Wolverhampton sending just one runner to the tapeta track which sees the handler make a 612 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not becoming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
Lucinda Russell is known for being a national hunt trainer, but runs Ballyare on the flat which is another strange thing to note, with this four year old being one of her few flat trained animals.
The gelding has been ran frequently throughout his career, especially on the all weather where he has appeared the last five runs.
Wolverhampton has been his preferred track over the last few weeks with his last two runs coming at the track and today he will be looking to land back to back wins at the Midlands track after winning over course and distance last time out.
He does have a penalty to contend with today, but he looks like a progressive horse and loves racing at this racecourse.
