Trainer D J Jeffreys on Monday is looking to have a winner in the Scotland sending just one runner to Musselburgh which sees the handler make a 676 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not becoming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
Jeffreys fields five year old mare Flighty Bride who is currently an 18/1 outsider for the last race of the day at Musselburgh in the bumper event.
The youngster has been seen on just two occasions, finishing third of six runners on debut at Fontwell in August and then running to a similar standard last time out over course and distance at Musselburgh finishing fifth of 13.
Although she will need to improve for her two past efforts this handler has a superb record when travelling this far with his horses having four winners from 14 runners which sees him pose a 29% strike rate.
