Trainer Heather Main on Thursday is looking to have a winner at Hamilton on the flat, sending just one runner to the Scottish based track on the day, which sees the handler make a 728 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
The handler loves bringing his horses this far currently running at a strike rate of 50% during her career having had 2 winners from 4 runners.
Captain Haddock made a nice start to the season when second on all weather/ yard debut, but since then has lacked enthusiasm and needs to bounce back in this event.
