Trainer Keith Dalgleish on Wednesday is looking to have a winner on the all weather at Kempton sending just one runner to the southern track which sees the handler make a 784 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not becoming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
Keith Dalgleish is known for coming a long way with his horses, but only bringing one runner on nearly an 800 mile round trip has to be noted.
Popular for Peaky Blinders fans, Aberama Gold looks to have a stand out chance in the Class 2 Conditions Stakes over six furlongs, performing to a high standard on his last few outings.
Having been a fair runner on the turf, running well in big handicaps at the big festivals Dalgleish has now sent him over the all weather and he has took to it very well.
He had his first start in November at Lingfield in a handicap winning well and he then backed that up last time out at Chelmsford When winning another handicap under a penalty.
His handler has now stepped him up to a conditions stakes and although a tougher assignment looks to be going in the right direction and has taken to the all weather really well.
