Trainer Mel Rowley on Monday is looking to have a winner at Ludlow today over the jumps, sending just one runner to the Shropshire based track on the day, and over the last two weeks she has been running at a 60% strike rate with her horses.
The handler has been in flying form over the last fortnight having managed to have three winners from just five runners, with the yard not being one of the biggest, but churns out plenty of winners.
Rowley will be looking to extend the form of her yard in this bumper event, with Malaita being her only runner at the track on the day.
The five year old mare has only been seen once to date and it came in April at Worcester in a similar event and she was a close third in what looked a decent event.
She tackles slightly different ground today but if improving for her debut run then she should not be far away.
