A first for The Winners Enclosure! We're proud to be sponsoring our first ever meeting at Wolverhampton on Monday evening. Whilst doing the usual branding around the course that a sponsorship brings, we've also had a bit of fun with the names of the seven races...
Wolverhampton racecourse is one of the few tracks in Britain that offers an all weather racetrack, meaning that racing takes place at the West Midlands course all year round.
On Monday night the seven races are made up of Handicap, Novice and Claiming races which are all very usual for a night meeting at the track.
The night meeting sees some top class jockeys head to the course with three time champion jockey Silvestre de Sousa having rides along with other well known riders in the sport.
The first race of the night is the Visit thewinnersenclosure.com For Racing Tips Apprentice Handicap and with this contest we are hoping to make more punters as well as our original followers aware of what we have to offer on our website.
This is very similar with the naming of the second contest of the night the Follow @twenclosure on Twitter Fillies' Handicap with our Twitter being the main hub of where our tips, selections, enhancements and news articles are released.
The third race is the final bit of promotion from our side with the Horsetracker App being recently given a makeover and now better than ever we want new and existing followers downloading and exploring what the app has to offer.
Now with that self indulgence all out of the way we can move on to the funny names we have come up with for the final few races.
The Wrexham bootlegger has become somewhat of a legend across social media over the past year and we want to pay homage to that by naming the fourth race of the night This Is Gonna Get Tasty Baby Claiming Stakes.

The next one has a superb background story as David Chillery is a Devon coach driver and he marks the anniversary of splitting from his second wife by paying for a horse race to be called “David Chillery Happy Days Celebrating His Divorce” every year at Newton Abbot.
We have flipped it on his head and done it from his ex wife's perspective to see how David will feel about this with the Celebrating 22 Years Without David Chillery EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes..

The penultimate race of the evening is the best of the lot with ex world champion boxer Chris Eubank becoming a viral sensation over the last few months, we couldn't not put him in.
An Absolutely Stupendous Piece Of Confectionary Novice Median Auction Stakes will go off at 8:20 and we just hope the race is as good as the way Eubank speaks.

The final race of the evening is named after one of our followers after we sent out a competition across our social media outlets asking if any of you wanted a race being named after you and Sam Davis was the winner.
The Winners Enclosure Follower Sam Davis Maiden Handicap will hope to top off a great night at the track.
