Flash In The Park could be hard to beat in the 13:30 at Uttoxeter on Friday. The Dan Skelton yard is striking at 23% over the last two weeks, and Kielan Woods is booked to take the ride today.

The six-year-old was a decent fifth on chase debut at Worcester in October following a 217-day break from the track. Came on from that effort when finishing a short head clear of Zestful Hope over course and distance last month.

The front two drew well clear of the field on that day, and a 4lb rise looks unlikely to stop his progress.

The Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero yard is represented by Let's Go Joe in the 14:40 at Uttoxeter on Friday. The team are striking at 15% over the last two weeks, and in-form rider Henry Brooke is aboard.

Let's Go Joe has won twice from eight starts over hurdles, and showed excellent grit on his latest effort when battling to the front to beat Be The Difference by just under a length.

That form has since been boosted, and he looks a very reliable contender on this step up in trip despite a 5lb rise in the weights.
