Wednesday's Throwback Race

Today's throwback race of the day looks back at the 2018 Coronation Cup at Epsom where Cracksman left it very late in the day to get up and add another Group One to his superb roster of black type wins.

Cracksman was a once in a lifetime horse landing back to back Champion Stakes along with with Group One success across the border in France.

However, in what should have been Crackman's easiest win in a major race he nearly made a a huge mistake and in the last few strides he just managed to deny Salouen from glory.

Overall, it was a superb contest that should have been a lot easier for the son of Frankel but with him still getting the job done, it made for a great spectacle.
