Luccia should prove hard to beat in the Mares' Hurdle at Wetherby on Saturday.

The Nicky Henderson yard is going along nicely at present with a 14% strike rate, and James Bowen takes the ride.

The six-year-old was an excellent third in the G1 Champion Hurdle last season, before taking fourth in the G1 Aintree Hurdle.

Luccia has course and distance experience, finishing second behind You Wear It Well in this race 12 months ago. A weaker field this year should set it up nicely for her.

The feature on the card comes in the form of the G2 Charlie Hall Chase. Bravemansgame could prove difficult to beat on his suited ground, but the fact that a number of rivals have recent runs under their belt can't be overlooked.

French Dynamite could prove to be the most interesting contender for the Mouse Morris yard.

The nine-year-old has always shown promise over the bigger obstacles, and he put in an excellent round of jumping to beat Minella Indo by over two lengths in the G3 BetVictor Chase last month.

Has some solid runs on good ground, meaning that he should enjoy conditions, and he remains open to slightly more improvement now back up to three miles.
