Last week in the racing world there was any outstanding moments that made the headlines but also events that do put a sour note on to the sport.
The weekends racing really took up most of news with many Grade 1 winning horses at the Cheltenham Festival and across the UK and Ireland making there seasonal reappearances in some tough races that gave a spectacle to the watching on race goers.

Other racing out of the UK that was worth noticing last week was in Hong Kong with some British raiders in the form of horses, trainers and jockeys performed excellently with British Champion Jockey Silvestre de Sousa stealing the show by landing the Hong Kong Cup.
