Defi Du Seuil begins his season in the Shloer chase and it'll be very interesting to see how he fares this year.
After winning the Triumph in 2017, nothing went right for him the season after and his career was reignited over fences last year.
After beating RSA winner TopoftheGame on his second chase start, he was then second to Lostintranslation in the Dipper at Cheltenham, before reversing that form in Scilly Isles at Sandown and then winning the JLT at the festival.
We last saw him finishing a credible second after a long season at the Punchestown Festival to Willie Mullins' Chacun Pour Soi and this race looks ideal for him to get his season underway.
