Andrew Balding went extremely close last season in his bid to be Britain's flat champion trainer and will be looking to kickstart his campaign as early as possible this season.
His first runner of the afternoon comes in the Spring Mile Handicap with May Night who has been running well on the all weather and will now look to convert that form to turf.
In the Lincoln Handicap he fields Notre Belle Bete, who is 2/2 for the yard since coming over from Ireland and is looking to land a hat-trick in the expensive handicap.
Finally in the Maiden Stakes he gives Groundbreaker a chance to break his maiden tag having gone close when last seen at Kempton.
Balding heads into the meeting posing a strike rate of 21% for the last two weeks, landing four winners from his 19 runners.
