The Henry Daly yard is represented by Jour d'Evasion in the 14:05 at Wincanton on Thursday. Daly's team have been in excellent form over the last two weeks, striking at a 25% rate. Sam Twiston-Davies is an eye-catching booking.

Jour d'Evasion has won once from nine starts over hurdles, but was a creditable second on his latest outing when finishing three lengths behind Ooh Betty.

Open to further improvement back over a mile and seven, and could take a lot of beating if at his very best.

Harry Fry-trained Trustintimes could be an excellent contender in the flat race at Wincanton on Thursday, due off at 15:45.

The three-year-old made a promising debut under rules at the end of October, travelling well before finishing second behind Gnomon.

That debut effort was over a mile and five, and he is now stepped up to a mile and seven, which should enhance his chances. Bryan Carver is booked to take the ride on the progressive gelding.
