A very competitive handicap chase is due off at 13:15 at Windsor today.

However, Deafening Silence looks like a winner waiting to happen for the team of Dan and Harry Skelton.

The eight-year-old is yet to win in two chase appearances, and he was well held over two miles and four last time out when finishing 40 lengths behind Jango Baie.

Steps up to three miles for the first time today, but this new trip could be the making of him.

Caldwell Potter was a big purchase last year, but he is yet to show the talents that many thought he would posses over fences.

He was a handy winner on stable debut for Paul Nicholls in December, before being easily turned over at Cheltenham when finishing third and 13 lengths behind Jango Baie.

However, he comes out on top based on the official ratings, and he should be winning this race. He will relish being back on softer ground.

Hughie Morrison sends Secret Squirrel to Windsor for the 15:35 today.

The six-year-old will have Nico de Boinville aboard, as he bids to bounce back after falling at the final flight over an extended mile and seven at Ascot last month.

Runs off the same mark today, and has form over the trip, having won over an extended two miles at Taunton in April when beating Heinwein by five lengths on soft ground.

Red Rookie looks to have each-way claims in a competitive handicap chase to round off the card at Windsor today.

The Emma Levelle yard is striking at 30% over the last two weeks, and Ben Jones picks up the ride.

The ten-year-old has won twice from 16 efforts over fences, and likely needed his return run last month to get back up to speed.

Travelled well for the most part, over two miles on testing ground at Haydock, and has obvious claims now back up in trip with different headgear applied.
