Wolverhampton host a decent card on the all weather on Monday afternoon and there has been some big money come for one of the horses in the Division Two Bombardier Handicap over seven furlongs.
Barrington for trainer Mick Appleby has undergone a massive gamble in the lucky last at Wolves being a decent price of 7/1 this morning and today is as short as 3/1 with plenty of time before the off.
The seven year old gelding does not have much form to go off in his last three runs putting in some below par performances.
His best recent run came in July at Chepstow when third of eight runners, but with not much to go off after that it makes you think what people know about this horse if big money is coming for it and his form does not stack up at all.
