Today we have highlighted an interesting move by one trainer at Yarmouth this evening as today he quickly turns out one of his runners, having landed a race with him last Tuesday and now just a week later bids for a second win with the same horse.
Trainer George Boughey holds a respectable 38% strike rate with his last time out winners running again within 7 days, and his entrant today, has won his last three events in quick succession.
Along with his impressive strike rate of winners within seven days of appearing, he also has a 17% win rate with horses winning next time out after winning previously, after a seven day period aswell.
The horse in question is the likeable Pocket The Profit, who was 4 1/4 length winner of a Nursery Handicap at Wolverhampton and then a day later won nicely at Newcastle.
Having had a week off this time he returns to the turf at Yarmouth and although up in the weights should go close again.
