As the flat season draws to a close, it only means one thing - a new jumps campaign is dawning. After a long summer, which included the retirement of the people’s favourite Cue Card, numerous horses will look to assert themselves at the best in their division, before the conclusions are drawn at Cheltenham in March.
We start the season with the likes of the Charlie Hall, the Betfair Chase - the first leg of the Jumps Triple Crown, and the November meeting at Cheltenham. It only seems the other day that Bristol de Mai bolted up by 57 lengths at Haydock, right?
