The Cartier Horse Of The Year awards are just around the corner with the season drawing to a close with just over a month left of competitive racing with some horses bidding to win there last race to try and sway the voters decisions.
Over the last 10 years there have been some outstanding horses win this title, winning Group 1 races all over the world to cement there name in flat racing folklore.
Throughout the running to gain this title there has never been a more successful trainer than the two people still at the top of there game today in John Gosden and Aidan O'Brien.
Gosden has had some wonderful horses in his time and having three out of the last 10 and most recently stabling last year's winner. The trainer is favourite to harbour this years winner with Roaring Lion looking set to scoop the prize and take Gosden above the rest for the amount of times his horses have won the accolade.
O'Brien has also won the title three times only having one horse in the last 10 years to win the title with the other two being really smart horses still winning it within this millennium.
