Many of the big National Hunt feature meetings and festivals for the season have been and gone, with this, after last seasons thrilling flat season and the apprehension already building for next season we wanted to see how good your knowledge was on the racing schedules of both styles.
The jumps season normally starts to get into full swing around the October, November time with the first big meeting being the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby.
Normally this Grade 2 contest see's a lot of the seasonal reappearances of the horses that will be fighting out for the Gold Cup come the Cheltenham festival.
The flat season on the other hand does not get going until the jumps has entirely finished, even though there is all weather racing throughout the jumps season, the big flat racing starts with the 1000/2000 Guineas and this gives us a huge picture of who will be going over what distances throughout the season.
The thing with racing fans is we all know the races and most of the time the horses who are competing in them but do you actually know what time of the year these meetings take place.
We have asked you 10 questions all multiple choice so we are expecting no less than 9/10 for this quiz. We have also given you 2 minutes 30 seconds to have a go at this quiz.
Tweet your scores into @TWEnclosure and will retweet the best scores. Good Luck!
