The first leg of our Compiegne win double comes in the fillies maiden over 1m 2f and we’ve gone for the Andre Fabre trained GALIFA.
By Frankel, she was far from impressive in her debut season last year managing to finish in the top three just once from her three runs.
She did however show signs that there might be a little quality in her when finishing a three lengths second behind Smile Makers who went on to be beaten by a short head in Group 2 company next time out.
Improvement should be on the cards once again and she’ll be an interesting watch in a weak maiden.
15:10 Tambouraines Maiden Stakes - Phaidra
The second leg of our win double sees 11 go to post in another maiden with the PHAIDRA the one to beat for us in the field.
No wins from five runs, she has managed to place on three of those runs with four of them coming over 7f.
Her best performance to date arguably came at Fontainebleu over this mile trip and now returning to that distance on ground in which she has shown she can handle fairly well, she looks hard to beat on paper.
