Failed to transfer his form a group races in the UK for Roger Varian and struggled when first joining David O’Meara but has started to tumble in the weights and put in a decent effort to be 4th at Ripon last time out. Getting trapped for room before peeling widest of all and finishing strongly.

Has dropped to an attractive looking rating of 93 now and although carrying a heavy weight here might just find life easier. Should get a decent enough pace to aim at in front.

Winning the Portland Handicap in a tight finish before narrowly getting up again to win over 6 furlongs in a group three race at Ascot, getting the better of Commanche Falls.

Built upon a pipe-opener on the all weather in February to score over 7 furlongs in Riyadh for Group Two honours. Returned to action off a long lay off with a poor outing in the Sprint Cup but it should have tuned him up nicely for this. Should be hard to beat if running to his best and is rated 8lbs or more clear of the rest of the field.

A recent change in tactics have seen him to better effect in his last two runs, rather than being held up, he’s been ridden with more purpose and has sat handy in fields and run well. Closing off a slow pace at Newbury behind Phantom Flight before not being able to live with the impressive Ombudsman over in France.

There looks to be more pace on here and if he sits handy behind a hot pace it will play into his stamina. Gets a handy weight allowance from the older horses and might just have this play to his strengths.

Found himself just collared late in the day on his last start last season over 14 furlongs and has shaped with credit over a mile and a half this season and wasn’t disgraced with a mid pack finish in the Ebor last time out.

Has dropped to a more workable handicap mark of 95 and should find this an easier assignment. Will Buick is an eye-catching jockey booking.

Consistent enough in handicaps last season he ran with credit on seasonal debut before finding 5 furlongs too sharp at Royal Ascot. Ran with promise on his next 3 outings, only being beaten by just over a length in each effort.

Fluffed his lines on soft ground last time out but a line can be drawn through that effort. Looks well handicapped off a mark of 90 and there’s plenty of pace drawn nearby to tow him into the race nicely.

Convincingly won a good novice stakes at York over 6 furlongs and has since had her sights aimed higher and upped in trip to 7 furlongs. Was narrowly denied in a Group Three at Deauville before struggling on soft ground at Goodwood last time out when sent off favourite.

Drops back to a more ideal looking 6 furlongs and should have this tee up nicely for her to come from off the pace.

Godolphin’s Shadow Of Light was impressive in his first two outings when winning nicely, before only narrowly being denied in the Gimcrack Stakes at York by Cool Hand Luke.

The form has worked out well since, with the 3rd going on to win the Sirenia Stakes, the 4th running well in the Flying Childers Stakes. Looks the one they all have to beat with the best form in the books.
