"Summerghand runs in the Sprint Cup and he has been a fantastic horse for us winning a Stewards Cup, second in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot and got touched off in a Listed race last week where we were unlucky not to win.

"We are stepping up in grade big style here, but he has been so tough and consistent that we feel he deserves to take his chance in a Group One.

"If he reproduces the performance of his Wokingham second off top weight then he has a chance of grabbing a place in the Group One which would be amazing for him.

"However, we are aware that he is stepping up in grade and it will be the toughest race he has ever been in, but finger crossed and he seems in god form."

"Gulliver ran another cracking race in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot this year, finishing fourth behind Summerghand which was won by Hey Jonesy.

"He likes the stiff six furlongs and this is a slightly weaker race than the Wokingham so we think he heads there with a big chance and he is one of our best chances on the day."

"Star Shield drops in grade for this race and has been highly consistent all year.

"We are putting headgear on him for the first time and that might just eek some improvement out of him.

"He is another one of our runners on Saturday that has a solid chance of being in the money."
