Aqueduct - 16:50 - Daddy Frank
American Law sets the standard here, but not a high one, so Frankel colt Daddy Frank may be able to take advantage of that on US debut.
Formerly with John Gosden, this 3-y-o is bred to appreciate this kind of test and a reproduction of his second at Kempton last November would make him very hard to beat.
Aqueduct - 19:43 - Iconic Adventure
William Mott’s horses often improve for their first outing so Iconic Adventure’s never-nearer second on debut can be marked up.
He stormed home from a poor position over a shorter trip than today so he will appreciate 7f and he is drawn perfectly in stall 1.
Irad Ortiz booked for Godolphin.
Del Mar - 20:30 - Dance Company
Dance Company finished third on debut at Keeneland when sent off 5/2 favourite and he has quickly been switched to Doug O’Neill from Wesley Ward.
He has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and was started out at 7f which is notable for a Wesley Ward juvenile, so this is definitely one for small stakes, but he shaped with plenty of speed on debut so this drop to 5f may prove suitable.
This isn’t a strong race so if he breaks well from stall 9 he should at least hit the frame.
Del Mar - 23:00 - Adare Manor
Bob Baffert’s daughter of Uncle Mo faded after trying to make most at Santa Anita on debut and we think she may last longer this time from stall 2.
A repeat of that performance would probably suffice, but she is likely to improve further, and the yard are in typically strong form.
