As a full-brother to Irish Derby/St. Leger winner Capri, Brazil should relish these testing conditions.

The forecast suggests this is going to be bottomless ground so stamina is going to be a crucial asset and on breeding this colt will have that in abundance.

Aidan O'Brien has won this event for the past six seasons with the likes of Mogul, Saxon Warrior & Yucatan and this son of Galileo is his only entry.

Blinkers applied.

The 100 rated Meala sets the standard in this Group 3 event but at the prices it is Donnacha O'Brien's Nicest that catches the eye.

This filly has an excellent pedigree and like our first selection she will have the ability to stay further over time which will only aid her in these conditions.

She cosily dealt with a relative on Siskin when sent off 6/1 on debut and Donnacha's horses have been taking a step forward for the run.

Aidan O'Brien's Lovelier is respected in this race as she looks a typical improver for the yard but Albigna is the clear form pick.

Jessica Harrington's daughter of Zoffany was disappointing when sent off 6/5 for the Irish 1000 Guineas but some of her 2-y-o form reads well and she is likely to stay this extra yardage.

Handles soft ground.

Nine of the last ten renewals of this race have been double figure prices and five of the previous six have come from double figure draws, which lands us on two big selections to play each-way.

Firstly, Chilean is a previous group winner on heavy ground and he comes into this fit from a spin at Galway on debut for his new yard.

He had many of these ahead of him that day but he was never put into the race and he subsequently gets in off 1lb lower.

Second up is Desert Wind.

This selection doesn't have the same soft ground form as his stablemate however he caught the eye when staying on from the rear at the Curragh therefore it is viable to believe he is well handicapped.

Some of his form in the UK reads exceptionally well so he is chanced at a massive price.

Omakase has evidently been brought along with these races in mind so a mark of 72 is likely to prove lenient, especially with a useful claimer shaving off a further 7lb.

All of her three start to dates have seen her finish nicely from the rear with her best effort coming on soft ground.

Colin Keane's ride should give her a nice toe into the race and see her finish best.
