The Group Three Superior Mile sees some old rivalries from this season reignite and with a strong field of eight it looks to be a great spectacle

Khaloosy for Roger Varian will have to be at his best in this field taking on the impressive My Oberon and James Tate trained Top Rank.

However, the manner in how the Hamdan Al Maktoum owned runner landed the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot was eye-catching and although fluffing his lines last time out he deserves another shot.

The race at Goodwood came on ground that was far to quick for him, now getting his ideal soft conditions there can be no excuses and he must reverse the form with the Haggas horse to go close.

Kempton host two races on ITV this weekend and the first is the Group Three Sirenia Stakes and Mystery Smiles for King Power racing looks the pick of the bunch.

He has been seen three times on a racecourse this season, winning his first two in taking style and last time out finishing a bold third in a classy race.

His win at Chester against the likeable Zamaani looked smart form but last time out he was third behind the superstar Minzaal for Owen Burrows in the Group Two Gimcrack Stakes at York.

Although being turned around quickly that is some solid form, especially dropping down in grade.

The marathon handicaps at these big meetings seem to feature some very smart runners and Midrarr for William Haggas is a filly going in the right direction.

Having made her debut this season at Goodwood over a mile it was evident that she needed a step up in trip and she got that at Newbury when finishing a bold third of 14, almost making all over 1m2f.

The three year old stepped up again to 1m4f at Chester last time out and revelled in the sticky conditions and extra distance and going up again on Saturday should bring more improvement.

Inform Hollie Doyle takes the ride.

The Group Three September Stakes is a really a no bet race for us with Enable being 1/6 but it should be a formality for the Queen of racing ahead of her trip to France.

The six year old this season has been as consistent as ever, starting her campaign in the Coral Eclipse just being denied by the Godolphin star Ghaiyyath but it acted as a perfect prep run for the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, which she landed for the third time in her career.

In 2018 she landed her second Arc off the back of winning this Group Three event on the Polytrack, seeing off Crystal Ocean by five lengths and connections have decided to go down the same route this term.

The Old Borough Cup as ever sees a huge field head to post over 1 mile 6 furlongs and a consistent performer is what you need in these races and we believe we have found one.

Rajinsky for Tom Dascombe and Haydock specialist Richard Kingscote looks one of the more likelier types to land this race having finished second on all of his last three starts.

Th four year old is a proven stayer placing in Ascot, Newbury and York Handicaps and having only gone up 2lb for his latest outing on the knavesmire, he has to be in the mix once more.

The Class 2 Lavazza Handicap Over 1 mile 4 furlongs sees a decent field of runners take to post that are proven over this distance, but we have gone for a big priced fancy.

The 9/1 shot Al Qaqaa is to big a price not to take a chance on after what he did on his second start this season when bolting up at Newmarket over this distance.

His performance that day was very taking and although running green last time out at Goodwood he finished his race well and he deserves another chance.

The feature race of the day at Haydock is the Group One Sprint Cup and we can't look anywhere else than last year's winner Hello Youmzain making it two on the bounce.

The Kevin Ryan trained sprinter has been a shining light for the yard landing the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot this year and also taking this same race last season.

Although only finishing fifth of 12 in the July Cup at Newmarket he bounced back to for last time out when finishing a bold second behind Space Blues in the Prix Maurice De Gheest.

Hello Youmzain has been known as a strong traveller in his races and if getting a clear passage on soft ground, he has to be respected.

Another big fielded handicap follows at Ascot this time for the sprinters over six furlongs and Gulliver for David O'Meara looks to have a live chance going back to a track he loves.

The six year old is very capable of a big showing if getting back to the form at the start of the summer when placing in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot and also finishing second in a photo finish in the Scurry Handicap at The Curragh.

He has not been at his best on his last two outings but has dropped back down in the handicap and will also be ridden by a five pound claimer which will help.

He is a course and distance winner at this track and should not be taken lightly.

The penultimate race of the day on ITV sees a hotly contested five furlong Class 2 Handicap and at a nice price Jabbarockie for Eric Alston can run a big race.

The seven year old, granted, is not getting any younger but this season has shown he still has bundles of quality when winning and placing in similar events.

He is a course and distance winner on soft ground and now only 1lb higher than his last winning mark he looks lovely each way value.

The final event on the ITV show is the Porshe Handicap over seven furlongs and Willie John at a double figured price can run a big race.

This five year old offered a lot as a youngster winning his first two starts at Yarmouth and Doncaster but since then he has not looked the same horse.

However, he got back to form when fourth of 14 last time out at Glorious Goodwood and racing off the same mark in a weaker event could be exactly what he needs to get back to winning ways.
