On Wednesday we have sieved through the cards across America and came up with our best bet of the day and it comes from Gulfstream in Race 5.

Captain Ron for trainer Rohan Crichton is a highly consistent eight year old that seems to be at the peak of his form, having five wins during his career and in his 19 outings to date has never finished outside of the top three.

Last time out over course and distance Captain Ron finished a good second behind a nice type and with this race looking weaker than that he can bounce back to winning ways.

The sprinter has been superb at this distance and getting his fast ground at a track he handles makes him one to follow on Wednesday evening.

In the lucky last at Gulfstream we have come up with an each way selection at 15/2 with last time out winner Postive Skew looking over priced in the betting.

This mare has been consistent at both seven furlongs and a mile during her career, winning over both distances and last time out scored in a good event over course and distance.

The five year olds trainer Carlos Martin has been in superb form of late having two winners from three runners over the last two weeks which sees him pose a 66.67% strike rate.
