We have a competitive 7-race card at Kempton this weekend where a Nicky Henderson 13/2 shot catches the eye.
This is probably the last chance for UK trainers to get a run into their horses before Cheltenham, though it is unlikely you will see any of this field in the winners enclosure come March.
Son Of Camas is held in very high regard by his trainer and his victory on hurdle debut was visually impressive.
The form has stacked up nicely with King Roland (second) winning by 19 lengths next time out before finishing second to Harry Senior in a graded event. Harry Senior has mixed it with Sporting John already this season and has a live chance at the festival.
This 5-y-o was then thrown into the deep-end when sent off second-fav to Fiddlerontheroof in the Tolworth, which is traditionally a hot novice event.
The ground was softer than ideal that day, but he still finished third and the fourth has since won two races with relative ease.
With the conditions set to be better this time around he looks e/w value at 13/2. Henderson currently has the market leader in Buzz but we are hoping he doesn’t run - making ante-post the way to go in this race.
