The Cheltenham festival is less than three months away and with that in mind we have picked out an ante-post selection for the Grade One Triumph Hurdle on the final day of the four day meeting.
Having gone through the current market for the Triumph Hurdle, our latest ante-post selection for the Cheltenham festival comes in the way of Bo Zenith for trainer Gary Moore, with the potentially smart star currently overpriced in the betting.
Bought from France and given to Gary Moore for this season, the four year old looks a very talented type off the back of his sole run to date when comfortably landing a 1m7f hurdles event at Auteuil back in April 2022 for David Cottin.
What made that success even smarter was that a horse called Blood Destiny was back in second that day and that gelding is now with Willie Mullins and on his debut for the Closutton yard looked extremely talented bolting up by five lengths hard held, in a 20 runner maiden.
Bo Zenith went on to school the Mullins horse in France and although we will find out more about the horse after his run at Sandown on Saturday, currently being a bigger price than Blood Destiny and set to be shorter if winning well at the weekend, at this stage he looks to be value in the Triumph market.
He will have to go along way to beat current 6/4 favourite Lossiemouth, but at 20/1 he represents each way value and horse to be watching throughout his career.
