Amateur rider David Maxwell has said that has a very tough choice of which one of his horses he will ride in the St. James's Place Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
Maxwell has been one of the stand out amateur riders this season and the rider has one of the strangest situations in the sport with him being the only jockey in the sport at the moment that rides all of the horses he owns.
He mostly splits them between the two leading trainers of Philip Hobbs and Paul Nicholls and this term has had his best ever season to date currently sitting on 18 winners, backing up his double figure return on his last campaign.
Maxwell earned his money being a very successful property developer, but now stepping into just being a week from the Cheltenham festival he has nothing else on his mind but landing his first ever festival winner.
The 41 year old now has to make a decision on what is his best chance of that winner with him having five possible entries in the contest with Saint Xavier, Cat Tiger, Jatiluwih, Shantou Flyer and Bob And Co.
Bob And Co looks to be the one he is siding with after what he has produced on his last two outings winning two hunter chases in good, staying fashion.
Another horses of his that he finished at Cheltenham on last season is Shantou Flyer and with that performance last year in the back of Maxwell's mind it is a real toss up.
Bob and Co is 10/1 for the event where as Shantou Flyer is slgihtly shorter at 9/1
"I have an agonising choice in the Foxhunter," he said. "Shantou Flyer is in seriously good form. I made a bit of a mess on Bob And Co first time out but he's won twice since then and he's a serious horse too.
"What I won't do is run them both, then I'll definitely choose the wrong one!"
