Was last seen being denied by a short head by Mick's Spirit over course and distance last month. Finished ahead of two reappearing rivals on that run, and is unlikely to be that far away once again.

Rey De La Batalla is an unexposed runner from the Simon Dow yard in the 15:02 at Lingfield today.

The four-year-old has won twice from eleven starts on the all-weather, and was last seen finishing a close second behind Tadreeb over course and distance on Jan 13.

Has run well behind two reappearing rivals in recent months, but he could be better off on these terms from a better draw.
