Having gone through the current market for the Albert Bartlett the current ante-post selection for the race comes in the way of Absolute Notions for Gordon Elliott, with the youngster looking a potentially exceptional talent.
Making his debut in April at Punchestown in a bumper over 2m 1/2f he was a very taking winner being close to seven lengths clear of the second.
Bought by Robcour after that win for €370,000, he was sent over hurdles with Elliott on Sunday and showed just how good he was to get back up when headed over 2m 3 1/2f.
Elliott has stressed he has a serious engine and will be going up in trip throughout the season leaving the Albert Bartlett as a serious proposition and at his current odds he represents big value.
